About
Growing up on the north shore of the province of Québec, Canada, LA Leblanc’s love for music developed over the years. From recording vocals in his bedroom to recording studios in Manhattan, NYC, his work has always reflected heartfelt music.
His first two songs, released in 2019, quickly gained attention and were listened to all around the world, particularly in Europe. Can’t Wait is an slow EDM pop record exposing one’s desire to see a lover come back.
Within the following weeks of its release, Leblanc got the call to record his second single, How Good You've Been, with GRAMMY Award winning producer Scott Jacoby (credits include Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Sia, John Legend) and Zach Ezzy, at Eusonia Studios.
Last but not least, Far from Mine presents a different side and new sounds to people missing loved ones, and was recorded back in his hometown at JCello Studio. Instruments are a big part of this emotional anthem. “Writing and recording this song was one of my lifelines,” he explains. All three singles have been brilliantly mastered by Emily Lazar and The Lodge Mastering (credits include Jacob Collier, David Bowie, Madonna, Paul McCartney).
LA’s musical journey goes back to classical piano lessons starting at 7 years old. By the time he was 15, he had earned on several occasions the highest score for music performances across the entire province of Quebec, all categories and instruments included. Nowadays, playing piano mainly helps him to write music and record ideas.
As new projects are currently on the broiler, he is excited to work on his debut EP and share different genres. At last, 2025 might just be a year of new music!
